New collections from recycled clothes! How is the fashion world transitioning to economical consumption?
01 Jan 1970There are already brands in the world that not only talk about the need to prevent ecological collapse but also successfully implement it. Many famous brands make new collections from recycled clothes! Brilliant!
H&M sustainable collection

For example, the famous brand H&M presented a collection completely made from recycled materials. The collection, inspired by the fashion of the 30s, includes dresses with ruffles and puffed sleeves, long coats, vintage elements, and an understated palette. And all this from textile and even plastic waste.
Collection from Zara

For the second year in a row, Zara has introduced the Join Life x TRF eco-line of clothing. In this collection, all items are made from 100% recycled polyester and plastic. The collection consists of puffy jackets, warm anoraks, elongated parkas, sweatpants, and even sneakers, which can later be recycled. Black, khaki, and silver were used as the three main colors.
Miu Miu actively promotes the idea of conscious consumerism

Expensive brands also support eco-initiatives. The Italian brand Miu Miu has presented a new autumn-winter collection, the charm of which lies in the fact that it was created under the auspices of upcycling.
The brand launched its Upcycled by Miu Miu initiative back in 2020, the main goal of which is to show that recycling is the future of high fashion. The new collection includes vintage leather jackets from the men's shoulder, which the brand's designers have remade by hand and breathed new life into them. From now on, old worn outerwear has turned into a real couture masterpiece. Miu Miu reimagines the silhouette with feminine collars, stylized flowers, crystals, and satin ribbon trim.
The new collection is presented in the brand's latest advertising campaign and its main message is to challenge one's perception of masculinity.
Recycled clothes are the future!
Eco-friendly clothing is more expensive than polyester or cotton, which can be thrown away as soon as it gets dirty or tired. But at the same time, recycled fabrics have many advantages. Eco-friendly fabrics last longer and remain beautiful, and clothes made from natural eco-friendly fabrics look expensive and status. Natural fabrics are much more pleasant to the body, do not interfere with ventilation, and remove sweat well.
An ill-conceived wardrobe with a hundred cheap T-shirts will cost more than a basic one made of expensive fabrics. What's more, by choosing clothes made from natural fabrics or recycled materials, you are contributing to the preservation of our planet.
