This amazing story happened in Costa Rica. One day, Chito was walking along the river bank and came across a dying giant crocodile, which was shot by a farmer. The man named the crocodile Pocho and began to nurse him. When the animal recovered, Chito took him to the river. But in the morning he found that the crocodile had returned and was sleeping in front of the house. Thus began a 20-year friendship between Chito and the crocodile. Thanks to the permission of the Minister of the Environment and the help of a veterinarian, Chito began to take care of the reptile as a pet.
