There are probably dead animals in Earthʼs orbit

A planet of diamonds

It was discovered in 2004. Research by scientists at Yale University suggests that the rocky planet 55 Cancri e, which has twice the radius of Earth and eight times the mass, may have a surface composed of graphite and diamond. This planet is 40 light-years away from us, but it is visible to the naked eye in the constellation of Cancer. In 2016, scientists investigated that its "light" hemisphere is in a molten state, while the dark side, on the contrary, is solid. Recent density measurements have shown that 55 Cancri e is composed mainly not of oxygen, like the inner planets of the Solar System, but of carbon. So it would be interesting to visit the planet 55 Cancri e, at least to study its core.

It is impossible to cry in space

Of course, nobody forbids astronauts to cry, but they physically cannot do it. Because of weightlessness, tears cannot flow down, as on Earth. The formed tears have nowhere to go, so they do not fall from the eyes. They form a conglomerate around the eyeball and remain there if not removed. 

In space, astronauts grow by 5 centimeters

This is a vivid example of how microgravity affects the human body. And this can be explained by the following example: when a force acts on the spring, it is compressed. When this does not happen, it stretches. The spine can also extend up to 7.6 centimeters in space, where gravity is very weak. But when the astronauts return to Earth, their height returns to normal.

Space is absolutely silent

It is hard to believe, but the fact is that sound needs an environment in which it can move and sound. And since there is no atmosphere in the cosmic vacuum, no melody can be heard there. Only complete silence.
