She found her biological mother, who turned out to be a TV star
03 Nov 2022This incredible story once again proved that sometimes life is full of impressive scenarios that even famous Hollywood screenwriters would hardly be able to invent.
American Lisa Wright always knew that she was adopted, but she never looked for her biological mother or her relatives. According to the woman, she always felt tenderness and care from her adoptive parents, so she did not feel the need to look for biological relatives. From conversations with them, Lisa only knew that her biological mother gave birth to her at 18, but could not take care of her, so she gave her up for adoption. But since the adoption was closed, Wright didn't even know her name. However, the woman did not even suspect that she had been watching her mother on TV every day since childhood.
Lisa grew up and had a child of her own, and when she was 54, her son suggested she take a DNA test and participate in 23andMe. Wright agreed and was very surprised to be told shortly afterward that her supposed uncle had been found. Lisa called a man named Carlton Moody, who told her about the family. He told her that her mother had moved to Los Angeles because she dreamed of going to Hollywood. Then she became pregnant, and since she was very young, she gave her daughter up for adoption. The uncle also said that the whole family had been looking for Liza for many years. But when Carlton mentioned the name of Lynn Moody's mother, Wright realized that it was very familiar to her and began to search for information on Google. When the woman saw the photos on the Internet, she was shocked, because her mother was her idol in her childhood, she starred in the TV series that the girl loved to watch at that time.
Her mother had a good acting career. She starred in one season of the series "This is my mother", and in the mini-series "Roots" and its continuation "Roots: The Next Generation". And also had roles in "Soap", "Hill Street Blues", "General Hospital" and "Knots Landing".
And a few minutes after the conversation with her uncle, Liza's mother called. Tears of happiness prevented the women from talking, so they decided not to waste time and meet the next day.
According to Lynn, she had been looking for a daughter for years, but she was always at a dead end because the adoption was confidential. She was even helped by famous colleagues, but even their fame and connections could not help the woman.
Moody had no more children. As the woman told reporters, after she called her daughter for the first time, she lay on the floor in the fetal position for a long time and screamed and cried from the overwhelming emotions.
Unfortunately, Lisa's adoptive parents did not live to see this meeting, they died in 2006 and 2010. Instead, the women are very happy to meet each other, they maintain a close relationship and repeat to everyone that miracles do happen in this world.
