In 1966 a whole cemetery of vampires was found in the town of Čelakovice near Prague in the Czech Republic. A resident named Frantisek Zmik was digging a well in his garden, but instead of water, he found the skeleton. He told the police about his find, and they brought archaeologists to the site. As a result, they discovered 11 graves and 14 skeletons. Scientists believe that they were hidden in the 10-11th century. Another of the most famous graves of these demons was found in Bulgaria near the tourist town of Sozopol. Another large graveyard of vampires was found in Poland in the city of Gliwice when the road was built. The fact that these deaths were considered monsters is evidenced by the unusual burial. The heads of the dead were cut off and placed at their feet. According to specialists, this was one of the most common methods of burying vampires in ancient times.
